There is little difference in the quality of the these two balls. The Kangaroo Brand balls, however, do utilise the finest leather available and are equivilent to the balls used by the AFL themselves on AFL game days. Balls are offered exclusively in Size 5 and Size 4 in Red or Yellow leather.
Sherrin requires that its branding appear in black on two of the four panels. As a result, a black custom logo represents the most cost-effective customization option. Three extra colors can be added, either in combination with black or independently. The color of the ball is not counted as a color, and can be used with a designs transparent areas.
