The AFL Western Bulldogs are another Melbourne based franchise of the AFL with their home just over the West Gate Bridge in working class Footscray. The Bulldogs who were once called the Footscray Football Club came from no where to win the Premiership a few years back and they almost pulled it off again in 2021. In 2023 they will be in the mix again for sure with their great young recruits.
