Kansas City Power is a founding member club of the USAFL and go way back to the very first days. Since then they have hosted two National Championship weekends in the early 2000s and in recent times are emerging as a club on the way up.

They have a strong relationship also with the Port Adelaide Power FC in Sth Australia.
